Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Supervisor in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Support the management of store inventory, including receiving, stocking, merchandising, and conducting regular counts.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Train and mentor new sales associates, helping them understand product knowledge, sales techniques, and store procedures.
- Open and close the store according to established procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.
- Monitor sales floor activities, ensuring merchandising standards are maintained and promotions are executed correctly.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts, delegating tasks, and ensuring adequate coverage during operating hours.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, escalating complex issues to the Store Supervisor when necessary.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Support loss prevention efforts by being vigilant and following company guidelines.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency (POS systems, Microsoft Office)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 lbs
- Proactive and problem-solving attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail environment (customer service or sales)
