Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process samples for various experiments following established protocols.
  • Execute routine laboratory tests and analyses under supervision.
  • Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents.
  • Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Support senior researchers in setting up and dismantling experimental setups.
  • Dispose of chemical and biological waste according to safety guidelines.
  • Perform basic data entry and assist in preliminary data analysis.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions.

Required Skills

  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related scientific field.
  • Fundamental understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, preparing solutions, microscopy).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
