Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transportation schedules, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal departments regarding logistics updates and issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, routes, and delivery statuses.
- Process and verify transportation documentation (bills of lading, delivery receipts).
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and coordinate repairs.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and customer inquiries.
- Utilize transportation management software (TMS) for tracking and route optimization.
- Prepare reports on transportation metrics.
- Support senior logistics team with administrative tasks.
Required Skills
- 1+ year in logistics, transportation, or administrative support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Logistics or Supply Chain.
