Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic A&R Administrator to join our dynamic team in Trumpington, Cambridge. This pivotal role supports our A&R department in identifying, nurturing, and developing new artistic talent across various genres. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize all incoming demo submissions, ensuring proper logging, categorization, and distribution to relevant A&R personnel.
  • Maintain comprehensive databases of artists, contacts, projects, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, auditions, and recording sessions for A&R teams and artists.
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute various documents, including contracts, reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting for A&R staff and artists as required.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for external inquiries related to A&R submissions and general department operations.
  • Support the contract administration process, liaising with legal teams and ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate logistics for artist showcases, promotional events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Conduct research on emerging artists, market trends, and competitive landscapes to support A&R scouting efforts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the A&R department, contributing to a smooth and efficient workflow.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
