Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the primary truck driver with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring secure and efficient handling of products.
  • Help navigate routes, identify delivery locations, and ensure adherence to scheduled delivery times across Kingston.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle alongside the driver, reporting any maintenance needs or issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck cabin and cargo area.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
  • Verify delivery documentation, including invoices and manifests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and traffic regulations.
  • Assist with securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
  • Support the driver with any additional tasks to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations.

Required Skills

  • Possession of a valid General Driver's License.
  • Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items repeatedly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
