As an Insurance Agent – Sales & Claims, you will be the cornerstone of our client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and problem-solver. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, actively engaging with potential clients within the Montego Bay area, and expertly guiding them through our diverse portfolio of insurance products, including life, health, property, and auto insurance. You’ll be responsible for conducting needs assessments, presenting tailored solutions, and closing sales to grow your client base and our market presence.

Beyond sales, you will play a critical role in client retention and satisfaction by efficiently managing and assisting clients with their insurance claims. This involves guiding them through the claims process, explaining policy coverages, gathering necessary documentation, and liaising with internal departments to ensure a smooth and timely resolution. Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect for new clients and generate sales leads within the Fairfield, Montego Bay area through various channels including networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analyses with potential clients to understand their insurance requirements and financial goals.
  • Present, explain, and sell a wide range of insurance products (life, health, property, auto, etc.) tailored to client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, quotes, and policy proposals.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships based on trust and exceptional service.
  • Assist existing clients with insurance claims, guiding them through the process from initial report to final settlement.
  • Collect and verify necessary documentation for claim processing, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, explaining policy details, claim status, and potential outcomes.
  • Liaise with claims adjusters, underwriters, and other internal departments to facilitate efficient claims resolution.
  • Stay informed about new products, market trends, and industry regulations to provide up-to-date advice.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, sales activities, and claims processes.

Required Skills

  • Existing network or strong ties within the Montego Bay community.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages relevant to the local population (e.g., Patois, Spanish).
