Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and play experiences.
- Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their developmental profiles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Assist with meal times, sleep routines, and personal care as required.
- Implement safeguarding policies and procedures effectively.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation and nursery policies and procedures.
- Promote children's independence, self-help skills, and social development.
Required Skills
- Minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or childcare setting (minimum 6 months).
- Excellent understanding of child development and early years foundation stage (EYFS) framework.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Eligibility for UK visa sponsorship (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
