Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, and Aromatherapy massages, tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to identify specific requirements, contraindications, and desired outcomes, ensuring a safe and personalised experience.
- Maintain immaculate treatment rooms, ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and comfort are upheld at all times.
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend suitable products or follow-up treatments for ongoing wellness.
- Adhere strictly to all spa policies, health and safety regulations, and professional code of ethics.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and workshops to enhance skills and stay updated with industry trends and techniques.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and assist with front desk duties when required, ensuring seamless client flow.
Required Skills
- SVQ Level 3 in Massage Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Proven experience as a professional Massage Therapist, ideally within a spa or wellness setting.
- Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A genuine passion for health, wellness, and client care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet client demand.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in specialised massage techniques (e.g., Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Reflexology).
- Experience with spa software and booking systems.
