Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents, samples, and solutions for experiments following established protocols.
- Assist senior researchers with experimental setup, execution, and data collection.
- Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, and spectrophotometers.
- Accurately record and document experimental procedures, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks.
- Perform routine lab duties such as inventory management, ordering supplies, and glassware cleaning.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Contribute to the troubleshooting of equipment and experimental issues under supervision.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions.
- Learn and apply new laboratory techniques and procedures as required.
- Dispose of chemical and biological waste according to regulatory guidelines.
