Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive geological mapping, core logging, and sampling programs for various mineral deposits.
- Develop and maintain robust 3D geological models using specialized software (e.g., Leapfrog, Micromine, Datamine).
- Perform resource and reserve estimation in accordance with international reporting standards (e.g., JORC, NI 43-101).
- Assist in the planning and supervision of drilling programs, ensuring data quality and geological integrity.
- Interpret geophysical and geochemical data to identify prospective targets and understand subsurface geology.
- Provide geological support for mine planning, optimization, and operational issues.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and project proposals.
- Implement and adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols in all geological activities.
- Collaborate with engineers and metallurgists to optimize extraction and processing strategies.
- Contribute to ongoing research and development initiatives aimed at improving geological methodologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in geological mapping and interpretation.
- Proficiency with geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Micromine, Datamine).
- Strong understanding of ore deposit geology and resource estimation methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry-standard reporting codes (JORC, NI 43-101).
