Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze logistical data, including transportation costs, delivery times, and product flow, to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations, presenting findings and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, warehousing, sales) and external partners (e.g., carriers, suppliers) to ensure seamless execution of logistics plans.
  • Support the negotiation of contracts with logistics providers and evaluate vendor performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of service.
  • Assist in the management of inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand while minimizing holding costs.
  • Utilize logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP) to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate detailed reports.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics analyst or similar supply chain role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Understanding of logistics principles, freight forwarding, customs procedures, and international trade regulations.

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
