Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicle safely and efficiently for deliveries.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and transportation regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring positive service experiences.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Verify order details against delivery manifests and obtain customer signatures.
- Collect payments, if required, and maintain accurate records.
- Handle and transport goods with care to prevent damage.
Required Skills
- Valid General Driver's License (Class B or equivalent).
- Clean driving record for at least 3 years.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Mandeville and Manchester parish.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Customer-centric approach with strong verbal communication skills.
- High level of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail.
