Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the entire logistics cycle, including order processing, warehouse management, and delivery scheduling.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels, proper storage, and timely replenishment.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track shipments, resolve any delays or issues that may arise, and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including shipping manifests, invoices, and customs paperwork.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and logistics service providers.
  • Utilize logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) to manage and track operations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems (WMS, TMS).
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making capacity.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCMP, APICS).
  • Experience with international shipping and customs.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles in a logistics context.
