Key Responsibilities
- Process all warranty claims accurately and in a timely manner according to manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Verify warranty eligibility by reviewing service repair orders, customer history, and policy terms and conditions.
- Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims, ensuring all required documentation and information are included.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors, technicians, and parts department staff to gather necessary information and resolve claim discrepancies.
- Liaise with manufacturers to inquire about claim status, dispute rejections, and secure timely payments.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all warranty transactions, submissions, and payments.
- Monitor warranty trends, identify potential issues, and assist in developing strategies to improve claim success rates.
- Ensure strict compliance with all manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Warranty Clerk or in a similar administrative role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
