Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary nurses with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Safely and compassionately restrain animals during examinations and treatments.
  • Prepare surgical instruments and assist with surgical procedures under supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the clinic, including kennels, examination rooms, and surgical areas.
  • Monitor recovering patients and report any changes to veterinary staff.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing client inquiries.
  • Manage and restock inventory of medical supplies and food.
  • Provide comfort and support to pets and their owners.
  • Assist with basic laboratory tasks and diagnostic imaging as required.
