Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary nurses with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Safely and compassionately restrain animals during examinations and treatments.
- Prepare surgical instruments and assist with surgical procedures under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the clinic, including kennels, examination rooms, and surgical areas.
- Monitor recovering patients and report any changes to veterinary staff.
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing client inquiries.
- Manage and restock inventory of medical supplies and food.
- Provide comfort and support to pets and their owners.
- Assist with basic laboratory tasks and diagnostic imaging as required.
