Key Responsibilities
- Manage all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure robust financial control and operational efficiency.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., HGB, IFRS).
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to establish financial targets and monitor performance against budget.
- Conduct comprehensive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to management.
- Oversee cash flow management, liquidity, and investment activities.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Mentor and develop junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior financial role (minimum 5 years).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (HGB, IFRS) and financial regulations.
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel skills.
