Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, food preparation, and delivery.
- Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service and production.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Manage inventory, control stock rotation, and minimize waste to optimize kitchen costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations (HACCP).
- Act as Head Chef in their absence, taking full responsibility for kitchen operations.
- Contribute creative input to menu development and special event planning.
- Monitor food portioning and plating standards to maintain consistency and cost efficiency.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a reputable establishment.
