Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and dismantling of event venues, including furniture, equipment, and decor, following clear instructions.
  • Welcome and register guests, providing directions and essential event information with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Provide proactive on-site support during events, including managing queues, assisting with seating arrangements, and promptly responding to guest inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of event spaces throughout the event duration to ensure a presentable environment.
  • Monitor event access points and ensure security protocols are followed when required, maintaining guest safety.
  • Support event managers and coordinators with various tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to help.
  • Operate basic audiovisual equipment or assist technicians as directed by event management.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively, escalating more complex matters to senior staff when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working and event environment.
  • Collect and clear waste during and after events, contributing to efficient turnaround times.
