Career.zycto is currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Pharmacy Night Assistant to join our client’s dedicated team in Vacoas-Phoenix, Plaines Wilhems District. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications, strictly adhering to prescriptions and safety protocols.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, rotating, and organizing medications and supplies during the night shift.
- Conduct regular stock checks, identify discrepancies, and assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, handling patient inquiries, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy premises, including shelving, workstations, and equipment, in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Process prescription refills and new orders accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the night pharmacist.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required to support night operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a pharmacy setting or a similar healthcare environment (e.g., medical assistant, retail pharmacy technician).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, especially medication handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with pharmacists, colleagues, and patients.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
