Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional and dedicated Hotel Manager to lead one of our distinguished properties situated in the picturesque Kukuau district of Hilo, Hawaii. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial objectives, increase profitability, and enhance market share.
  • Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction by consistently delivering exceptional service and proactively addressing feedback.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue generation through effective pricing and sales strategies.
  • Maintain the physical appearance and operational standards of the property, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and brand guidelines.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with local community partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance the hotel's presence.
  • Implement innovative marketing and sales initiatives to attract and retain guests, aligning with local market trends.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel management or a related hospitality field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding guest service and operational excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and standard office software.
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team and clientele.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
