Career.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and dedicated Overnight Security Officer to join our team in Henrietta, Vacoas-Phoenix. This crucial full-time night shift role is perfect for an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and an unwavering commitment to maintaining safety and security during the quiet hours. As an Overnight Security Officer, you will be the vigilant guardian of our premises, ensuring a secure environment for our assets, personnel, and operations.
Your primary mission will involve performing regular patrols across designated areas, both on foot and using company vehicles as required. You will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, identifying and reporting any suspicious activities, unauthorized entries, or potential hazards promptly. Responding efficiently and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances will be a core part of your daily routine. This includes assessing situations, implementing appropriate protocols, and coordinating with emergency services when necessary to mitigate risks and protect the property.
A significant aspect of this role involves enforcing company policies and procedures to uphold a safe and orderly environment. You will control access points, verifying credentials for all individuals entering and exiting the premises during your shift, and maintaining meticulous logs. Accuracy and thoroughness in documentation are paramount; you will be expected to prepare detailed and coherent incident reports, daily activity logs, and other relevant documentation to ensure all events are recorded for future reference and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of designated areas during night hours.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, and alarm systems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
- Control access and egress points, verifying credentials for all persons and vehicles.
- Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation.
- Liaise with emergency services (police, fire, ambulance) as required.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activities.
- Perform routine checks on doors, windows, gates, and other entry points for security breaches.
- Assist in emergency evacuations and provide first aid when necessary (if certified).
