You will be responsible for end-to-end photography services, from initial client consultation and shoot planning to execution and meticulous post-production. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute photography shoots for various events (e.g., conferences, parties, weddings, corporate functions) and commercial purposes (e.g., product, lifestyle, architectural).
- Utilize professional-grade photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories, to capture high-quality images.
- Edit, retouch, and color-correct photographs using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) to meet client specifications and brand guidelines.
- Manage and organize photographic assets, ensuring proper backup and timely delivery of final images.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and specific requirements for each project.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and excellent client relations throughout all assignments.
- Develop and maintain a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of event and commercial photography work.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver completed work efficiently and to the highest standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating professional DSLR/mirrorless camera systems and associated lenses.
- Expertise in photographic lighting techniques, both natural and artificial.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-production.
- Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating experience in both event and commercial photography.
- Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel to various shoot locations within Kingston and surrounding areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team when required.
