Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue premises to deter illegal activities and ensure safety.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, and respond to alarms or incidents.
- Manage access control points, verify credentials, and manage guest flow efficiently.
- Respond effectively and appropriately to emergencies, disturbances, and security breaches.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting visitors with inquiries and directions.
- Enforce venue rules and regulations fairly and consistently.
- Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Collaborate with venue management, event organisers, and emergency services.
- Maintain a high level of vigilance and awareness of the surroundings.
- Assist in the evacuation of the premises in case of emergencies.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor License or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a security role, preferably within a venue or public-facing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Experience with CCTV monitoring and operations.
