Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock deliveries efficiently and accurately.
- Unpack, sort, and organise merchandise in the stockroom according to established procedures.
- Replenish shelves, displays, and promotional areas on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-presented and accessible.
- Monitor stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom, identifying and addressing replenishment needs proactively.
- Rotate stock to ensure proper product freshness and minimise waste, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock audits as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stockroom and sales floor environment.
- Communicate effectively with sales associates and management regarding stock availability and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and stand for extended periods.
