Job Description
Ryan’s Bay Hotel is seeking a skilled, passionate, and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our esteemed Wellness Center team in Mwanza. Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage services, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, and other specialized techniques, tailored to individual guest needs.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to identify their specific concerns, medical history, and desired outcomes, adjusting treatments accordingly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil treatment room environment, adhering strictly to hygiene and sanitation protocols.
- Educate guests on the benefits of regular massage, recommending complementary spa services or home care products to enhance their wellness journey.
- Actively listen to client feedback during and after treatments to ensure satisfaction and make necessary adjustments.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely service delivery for all guests.
- Collaborate with the spa team to uphold exceptional service standards and contribute to a positive, cohesive work environment.
- Ensure all spa equipment is in excellent working condition and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Massage Therapist in a spa or hotel setting.
- Certified qualification from a recognized massage therapy institution.
- Proficiency in various massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Aromatherapy).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and client-focused approach.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage therapy.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications

- Fluency in Swahili and English.
