Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute experiments for the synthesis, processing, and characterization of novel materials.
- Perform advanced materials characterization using techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR, mechanical testing, and thermal analysis.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and prepare detailed scientific reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to understand material requirements and integrate new materials into product designs.
- Develop and optimize material processing techniques to enhance performance and manufacturability.
- Contribute to patent applications, scientific publications, and internal technical documentation.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in materials science and related fields, proposing innovative research directions.
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols and maintain high standards of quality control.
- Mentor junior scientists and technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Required Skills
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in materials research and development (academic or industrial).
- Proven expertise in a range of materials characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD, Spectroscopy).
- Strong understanding of material structure-property relationships.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and scientific computing tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, Origin).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications
