Job Description
Career.zycto is on the lookout for a talented and driven DevOps Specialist to join our innovative team in Moritzberg, Hildesheim. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of our platforms.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), focusing on cost-efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement necessary tools and processes to enhance developer productivity and system reliability.
- Implement and maintain robust security practices across our infrastructure and application deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all systems, tools, and processes.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical systems.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to improve our DevOps ecosystem.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with serverless architectures
