Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their vision and translate it into creative décor concepts.
- Develop detailed mood boards, design proposals, and visual plans for various event types.
- Source and procure decorative elements, including florals, lighting, linens, furniture, and props, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
- Execute the physical setup and styling of event venues, adhering to design specifications and timelines.
- Oversee the dismantling and removal of décor post-event, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Manage and maintain inventory of decorative items, ensuring proper storage and condition.
- Stay updated on current décor trends, materials, and techniques to inspire innovative designs.
- Work effectively as part of a team, coordinating with other event professionals to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Conduct site visits to assess venue suitability and plan décor placement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Event Decorator or similar creative role.
- Exceptional creativity and an impeccable eye for design and aesthetics.
- Strong understanding of colour theory, spatial arrangement, and visual merchandising principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move decorative items.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous event décor projects.
Preferred Qualifications

- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for transporting décor.
