Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve set targets through effective merchandising and customer service strategies.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of retail associates, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock control, ordering, and preventing shrinkage.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met and exceeded, resolving customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Manage store budgets, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain store visual merchandising and ensure an inviting shopping atmosphere.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community and suppliers.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Solid understanding of sales analytics and retail KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage budgets.

  • Fluency in English and Swahili.
