Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line remote support to patients and healthcare providers regarding tele-health platform usage, technical issues, and general inquiries.
- Manage and schedule virtual patient appointments, ensuring efficient calendar utilization for clinicians.
- Assist patients with onboarding processes, including setting up accounts, troubleshooting device connectivity, and guiding them through their first virtual visit.
- Coordinate communication between patients, clinicians, and other support staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records within our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations.
- Address and resolve patient concerns and complaints with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Monitor and respond to incoming support tickets, emails, and chat messages in a timely manner, maintaining high response rates.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues, following established protocols.
- Educate patients on the benefits and procedures of tele-health services, promoting digital literacy.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with tele-health best practices and platform updates.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (1+ year) in a customer service or administrative support role, preferably in a remote setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and empathy.
- Proficiency with office software, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort with learning new software platforms and virtual communication tools.
