Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production flows and adherence to schedules.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor production output, quality control, and ensure compliance with all company standards and industry regulations.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and training sessions.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
- Optimize production processes through continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Manage raw materials, inventory, and finished goods, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Prepare daily and weekly production reports, analyzing performance metrics and providing recommendations.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, logistics, quality assurance) to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain machinery and equipment, scheduling preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in both German and English (written and verbal communication).
