Key Responsibilities
- Organize, host, and participate in a variety of recreational and social activities for guests, including trivia, sports, games, themed parties, and fitness classes.
- Actively engage with guests of all ages, ensuring their enjoyment and providing excellent customer service and hospitality.
- Assist with evening entertainment shows, productions, and events as required, potentially including stage setup, backstage support, or performing duties.
- Provide information and assistance to guests regarding daily activities, ship amenities, and port excursions.
- Maintain a high level of enthusiasm, professionalism, and positive energy throughout all interactions.
- Collaborate effectively with other crew members and departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and environmental policies and procedures onboard the vessel.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously, escalating when necessary.
- Participate in mandatory drills and training sessions as per international maritime regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in entertainment, hospitality, customer service, or a related field (e.g., resort entertainment, event hosting, youth activities).
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written. Additional languages are a strong asset.
- Proven ability to engage and interact enthusiastically with diverse groups of people.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of energy, creativity, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work long hours and a demanding schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid passport and ability to obtain necessary visas and travel documents.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on a cruise ship or in a similar international, live-in work environment.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Performing Arts, or Recreation.
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German, Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin).
- Skills in specific areas such as dancing, singing, DJing, sports instruction, or children's programming.
