Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health Support Lead Supervisor to join our team in Patchway, Bristol. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead and inspire a team of health support professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support services within our community programs. As a Health Support Lead Supervisor, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily operations, coordinating staff schedules, providing expert guidance, and acting as a key point of contact for complex client cases. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of health support workers, conducting regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews.
- Oversee daily operational activities, including client caseload management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support services in line with organisational policies and regulatory standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalating client issues, complex cases, and staff queries, providing expert guidance and resolution.
- Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
- Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to service development initiatives.
- Manage staff rotas, approve leave requests, and ensure adequate staffing levels for continuous service delivery.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the support team.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and adhere to all data protection regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within health or social care.
- Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Ability to manage complex situations, make informed decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and report writing.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant health and social care legislation and regulations.
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with mental health support, learning disabilities, or complex care needs.
- Familiarity with local health and social care services in Bristol.
- First Aid certification.
