Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of night shift operatives, ensuring adherence to schedules and operational targets.
- Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular quality checks and ensure all products/processes meet established standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Enforce all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, promoting a culture of compliance.
- Handle disciplinary issues and performance reviews for team members as necessary.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports, documenting activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
- Communicate effectively with other shift supervisors and management to ensure smooth handovers and continuity of operations.
- Respond to and resolve operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or emergencies that arise during the night shift.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping during the shift.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably within a night shift operation.
