Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, extraction, and transformation of data from various sources to support BI initiatives.
  • Perform data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of information.
  • Support senior analysts in the development and maintenance of recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical models.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports to answer specific business questions and provide timely insights.
  • Help to document data definitions, data sources, and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to resolve data-related issues and improve data infrastructure.
  • Participate in training sessions and actively learn new BI tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Provide basic support to end-users on how to access and interpret BI reports and dashboards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Business Intelligence unit.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic functions).
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Foundational understanding of data concepts and database structures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or other database query languages.
  • Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView (even from academic projects).
  • Understanding of banking or financial services industry concepts.
  • Fluency in English (additional advantage for international collaboration).
