Career.zycto is excited to announce an opening for a Spa Receptionist to join our premier relaxation center located in the serene heart of Nyeri County. This pivotal role is the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our spa, ensuring every guest’s experience, from their first inquiry to their final departure, is seamless, delightful, and truly relaxing. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome all guests to the relaxation center, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage all spa bookings and appointments efficiently, using scheduling software, and confirm details with guests.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about services, packages, and promotions.
  • Process payments for services and products accurately, managing cash, credit card transactions, and daily reconciliations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, lobby, and retail display areas.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for their spa experience.
  • Address guest concerns, feedback, and special requests promptly and courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Educate guests on our range of spa treatments, therapies, and retail products, offering personalized recommendations.
  • Collaborate effectively with therapists and other spa staff to ensure timely service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory of retail products and reception supplies, assisting with reordering as needed.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism regarding guest information.
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures of the spa, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or reception role, preferably within hospitality, spa, or wellness.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and Swahili.
  • Proficiency in using booking software, POS systems, and general office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional, polished demeanor with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction and wellness.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by business needs.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to guest service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Customer Service, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a spa, hotel, or beauty salon.
  • Knowledge of various spa treatments and wellness practices.
  • Experience with social media management for business promotion.
