Career.zycto is partnering with a renowned care provider in Camden, London, to recruit a highly motivated Live-In Care Supervisor Lead. As a Live-In Care Supervisor Lead, you will be at the heart of our operations, overseeing the delivery of personalised care plans to clients requiring continuous support in their own homes. Your primary focus will be to ensure excellence in care provision, maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, and provide robust supervision and mentorship to a team of live-in carers. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of high-quality live-in care services, ensuring client well-being and satisfaction.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of live-in carers, conducting regular supervisions and performance appraisals.
  • Develop, review, and update personalised care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct initial assessments and risk assessments for new clients, ensuring appropriate care matching.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for care staff.
  • Handle client and carer queries, complaints, and emergencies efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and best practice guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and care documentation.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required, demonstrating leadership and responsiveness.
  • Promote a positive and supportive working environment for all care team members.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a live-in care setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and care standards.
  • Proficiency in care planning, risk assessment, and medication management.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Full UK driving license (preferred, but not essential if client locations are easily accessible).

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care or a relevant management qualification.
  • Experience with complex care needs (e.g., dementia, palliative care, spinal injuries).
  • First Aid certification.
  • Proficiency in using care management software.
