Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a diverse calendar of activities and events catering to various age groups and interests.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of activity planning, including venue booking, equipment sourcing, and resource allocation.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and support staff for event delivery.
  • Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Promote activities effectively to maximize participation, utilizing various communication channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, local businesses, and participants.
  • Monitor activity effectiveness, gather feedback, and adapt programs for continuous improvement.
  • Manage activity budgets and track expenditures, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
  • Lead and facilitate engaging sessions, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in activity planning, event management, or community engagement (minimum 3 years).
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and manage diverse groups of people.
  • Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within first 3 months of employment).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in Leisure Management, Community Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with specific demographic groups (e.g., youth, seniors, individuals with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of the local Greenwich community and its resources.
  • Experience with marketing and social media for event promotion.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
