Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a diverse calendar of activities and events catering to various age groups and interests.
- Manage all logistical aspects of activity planning, including venue booking, equipment sourcing, and resource allocation.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and support staff for event delivery.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote activities effectively to maximize participation, utilizing various communication channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, local businesses, and participants.
- Monitor activity effectiveness, gather feedback, and adapt programs for continuous improvement.
- Manage activity budgets and track expenditures, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
- Lead and facilitate engaging sessions, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in activity planning, event management, or community engagement (minimum 3 years).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and manage diverse groups of people.
- Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within first 3 months of employment).
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Leisure Management, Community Development, Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with specific demographic groups (e.g., youth, seniors, individuals with disabilities).
- Knowledge of the local Greenwich community and its resources.
