Job Description

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the salon, providing support to our experienced braiders, and helping us deliver an outstanding experience to every client.
As a Hair Braiding Assistant, you will learn the foundations of various braiding techniques, hair preparation, client consultation best practices, and salon etiquette. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working closely with our skilled professionals who are committed to mentoring the next generation of braiding artists. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior hair braiders with hair preparation, including washing, detangling, and sectioning hair.
- Prepare braiding stations with necessary tools, extensions, and products before client appointments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including sweeping, sanitizing tools, and tidying work areas.
- Greet clients warmly, offer beverages, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
- Help manage salon inventory, notifying senior staff when supplies are running low.
- Learn and practice basic braiding techniques under supervision.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and ensuring a positive salon experience.
- Support the front desk as needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Adhere to all salon health and safety guidelines.
