Career.zycto is seeking a talented and passionate Photographer to join our dynamic creative team in Finaghy, Belfast. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, set up, and execute photographic shoots for events, portraits, and studio projects, adhering to client briefs and creative direction.
  • Operate and maintain professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and other photographic tools to achieve optimal image quality.
  • Direct and pose subjects effectively during portrait and studio sessions to capture desired expressions and compositions.
  • Manage and organize photographic assets, including image culling, renaming, and secure storage.
  • Perform extensive post-production work, including color correction, retouching, and cropping using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
  • Collaborate closely with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on visual solutions.
  • Ensure all photographic deliverables meet Career.zycto's high quality standards and brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest photography trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously enhance skills and service offerings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment and ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in event, portrait, and studio photography (minimum 2 years).
  • Expert proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras and various lens systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of lighting techniques (natural, continuous, strobe) for different photographic scenarios.
  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for image editing, retouching, and color grading.
  • Strong understanding of photographic composition, framing, and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction and subject direction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of photography and post-production.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related creative field.
  • Experience with videography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing a wide range of photographic styles and successful projects.
  • Knowledge of local venues, scenic locations, and artistic communities within Finaghy and greater Belfast.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute creative projects from inception to completion.
