Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of beauty treatments, specializing in skin care (facials, extractions, masks) and hair treatments (scalp treatments, deep conditioning, hair masks).
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin and hair conditions, understand client needs, and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in treatment rooms and throughout the salon, including sterilizing equipment and disposing of waste properly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a relaxing and professional experience for every client.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, product usage, and ongoing beauty routines to maximize results and encourage product sales.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and assist with front desk duties when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest beauty industry trends, products, and treatment techniques through continuous learning and professional development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Actively participate in salon team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Beautician, with a focus on skin and hair treatments.
- Excellent knowledge of various skin types, conditions, and effective treatment protocols.
- Proficiency in performing a variety of facial treatments, including cleansing, toning, exfoliation, and massage techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to perform hair treatments such as deep conditioning, scalp treatments, and hair masks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Exceptional client consultation and active listening abilities.
- High level of personal presentation and grooming standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in advanced skin care, dermaplaning, chemical peels, or specialized hair treatments.
- Experience with a range of professional beauty product lines and equipment.
- Previous experience with retail sales of beauty products.
