Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Mortgage Advisors and clients throughout the mortgage application process.
  • Accurately gather, verify, and submit all necessary client documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Liaise proactively with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to progress applications efficiently.
  • Maintain meticulous client records and update CRM systems with precise and timely information.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, offering clear, concise, and professional guidance.
  • Prepare and dispatch correspondence, reports, and other critical documents.
  • Assist in conducting initial client fact-finds and affordability assessments.
  • Monitor application progress, identify potential issues, and escalate as required.
  • Ensure adherence to all data protection, compliance, and anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of client support processes and documentation workflows.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a mortgage administration, client support, or similar financial services role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • A solid understanding of the mortgage application process and related documentation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client confidentiality and data security.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification or working towards it.
  • Experience with specific mortgage-related software or platforms.
  • Familiarity with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced recruitment or advisory environment.
