Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our partners’ academic projects in Samburu County, Kenya. As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the entire research lifecycle, from assisting with literature reviews and data collection to preliminary analysis and report drafting. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and synthesize relevant academic sources.
- Assist in the design and implementation of research instruments (e.g., surveys, interview guides).
- Coordinate and conduct fieldwork, including data collection through interviews, focus groups, and observations within Samburu County.
- Manage, organize, and maintain research databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform preliminary data analysis using statistical software or qualitative analysis techniques.
- Support the drafting and editing of research reports, papers, presentations, and other academic outputs.
