Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activities Lead Supervisor to join our vibrant team in Restalrig, Edinburgh. This pivotal role involves leading, planning, and overseeing a diverse range of recreational, educational, and social activities designed to engage our community members of all ages and abilities. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, organize, and supervise a wide range of engaging and inclusive activities for various age groups and abilities.
- Oversee the daily operations of activity programs, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate a team of activity assistants and volunteers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

- Manage activity budgets, resources, and inventory effectively, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and relevant legal requirements.

- Collaborate with local community groups, schools, and organizations to expand program reach and impact.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, program participation, and incident reports.
- Promote activities through various channels, encouraging maximum participation and engagement.
- Handle participant inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an activities, recreation, or community services setting.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and evaluate diverse activity programs.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and implementation of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by program schedules.
- A genuine passion for community engagement and fostering inclusive environments.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
