Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SEM Executive to join our vibrant marketing team in Nyandarua County. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge paid search campaigns across various platforms, primarily Google Ads and potentially Bing Ads, to drive client growth and achieve ambitious marketing objectives. As our SEM Executive, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of paid media campaigns, from initial strategy and keyword research to ad copy creation, budget management, bid optimization, and detailed performance reporting. You will work closely with our wider marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals and client needs. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying new opportunities for growth, testing innovative ad formats, and staying ahead of industry trends to maintain our competitive edge. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive paid search strategies across Google Ads and other relevant platforms.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create compelling and effective ad copy, ad extensions, and provide recommendations for landing page optimization.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance daily, ensuring adherence to budgets and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform A/B testing on ad creatives, bidding strategies, and targeting parameters to continuously improve results.
  • Generate detailed performance reports, dashboards, and provide actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEM trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with content, SEO, and social media teams for integrated digital marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and allocate advertising budgets efficiently to maximize return on investment (ROI).

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping, Video).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and other web analytics tools for performance tracking.
  • Excellent understanding of paid search optimization techniques, bidding strategies, and campaign structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to write engaging, persuasive, and conversion-focused ad copy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex topics clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads certification(s) (Search, Display, Shopping, Measurement).
  • Experience with other paid advertising platforms (e.g., Bing Ads, Facebook Ads).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience working with diverse client portfolios or managing campaigns for multiple brands.
