Key Responsibilities
- Assist service users with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, maintaining dignity at all times.
- Support with mobility and transfers, using equipment safely and effectively where required.
- Administer medication as per care plans and company policy, after appropriate training and competency assessment.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in activities and conversation.
- Monitor and report any changes in health, behaviour, or well-being to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation.
- Assist with light household duties to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and care plans.
