Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an AI Data Labeler & Tech Support Specialist in Kwale County, Kenya. This hybrid role is crucial to the success of our artificial intelligence initiatives, combining the meticulous work of data annotation with the critical function of technical assistance. As an AI Data Labeler, you will be responsible for accurately categorizing, tagging, and annotating vast datasets across various modalities, including images, text, audio, and video, to train and improve machine learning algorithms. Your precision will directly influence the accuracy and effectiveness of our AI models, contributing to cutting-edge solutions across diverse industries.
Beyond data labeling, you will serve as a first-line tech support specialist, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to our data labeling platforms, tools, and processes. This includes assisting fellow labelers, internal teams, and occasionally external partners with technical challenges, system navigation, and best practices. You will document solutions, create knowledge base articles, and provide feedback to development teams to enhance user experience and platform stability. This role requires a unique blend of analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality data annotation and labeling for various data types (images, text, audio, video) according to strict guidelines and quality standards.
- Categorize and tag data points with accuracy and consistency to improve machine learning model training.
- Identify and escalate complex data labeling challenges or ambiguities to senior team members for clarification.
- Provide technical support to internal users regarding data labeling tools, platforms, and related software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently, offering clear and concise instructions and solutions.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and frequently asked questions to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to understand project requirements and provide feedback for tool improvements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols at all times.
- Participate in quality assurance processes, providing constructive feedback on labeled data and technical support processes.
- Stay updated with the latest AI trends, data labeling techniques, and support best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with data labeling, annotation, or data entry with a strong focus on quality.
- Proficiency in using various software applications and online tools, with a quick learning curve for new technologies.
