Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior surveyors in conducting land surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
- Operate and maintain various surveying instruments, including total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and automatic levels.
- Accurately record field data, measurements, and observations in logbooks or digital data collectors.
- Set up and adjust surveying equipment over survey points.
- Clear vegetation and obstacles on survey lines to ensure clear sightlines.
- Help establish and maintain survey control points.
- Perform basic computations and checks on field measurements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and site-specific regulations.
- Assist in the transportation of equipment and personnel to and from job sites.
- Learn and apply fundamental surveying principles under supervision.
