Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Process prescription refill requests accurately and promptly, coordinating between patients, prescribers, and pharmacies.

  • Respond to patient and pharmacy inquiries regarding medication status, dosages, and related concerns via phone, email, and secure messaging platforms.
  • Maintain precise and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Resolve prescription-related issues, such as rejected claims or formulary discrepancies, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Educate patients on prescription processes, potential costs, and available support programs.
  • Collaborate effectively with a remote team to ensure consistent service delivery and share best practices.
  • Adhere strictly to all regulatory requirements and company protocols for prescription management.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy, medical office, or healthcare support role.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and pharmacy management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and record-keeping.
