As a Studio Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our design studio, providing essential support to our senior designers in bringing their creative visions to fruition. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior designers in all stages of the design process, from concept to production.
  • Conduct research on uniform trends, fabric innovations, and functional design elements relevant to various industries.
  • Prepare design sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards using both manual and digital methods.
  • Support in the selection and sourcing of fabrics, trims, and accessories, ensuring they meet quality and durability standards.
  • Assist with pattern making, sample development, and fitting sessions.
  • Organize and maintain the design studio's fabric library, archives, and material samples.
  • Support administrative tasks related to the design department, including documentation and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with production and sales teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet client specifications.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, assisting with visual aids and notes.
  • Conduct quality checks on samples and finished products to ensure adherence to design standards.

Required Skills

  • Foundational understanding of fashion design principles and garment construction.
